This is my remix of Nu:Tone - Lightning. I decided to make something softer, warmer and melodic with liquid vibe sauce on top of it I'm participating in Beatport Nu:Tone's remix contest, so feel free to vote for me, please http://play.beatport.com/contests/nu:to ... 68e1fe7fd8

For me the best version so far. Nice atmosphere, nice vocals, smooth.
Probably i will upload mine version too, but it's not finished yet.

Great track & mix, but enlighten me - what's the major difference between liquid funk and drum & bass?

Drum & Bass is genre, where Liquid Funk is sub-genre. Very melodic, soul/funk inspired, without super heavy bass lines, etc. Also known as Intelligent Drum&Bass.
