Can I upgrade from CB essential 4 to CB 6 in two stages?

Post by poppinjon » Thu Apr 14, 2011 12:28 am

Hey all,

I currently run CB essential 4 and realized that I could upgrade to CB arist 6 for $99! That's great, but I dont want to get stuck there and not be able to upgrade any further. Is it possible for me to upgrade to CB artist 6 now, and then upgrade again to CB 6 full version when I get the money? All help is very much appreciated...sorry if I sound kind of silly...got a flu and not thinking straight!

God bless you!

Yep that's entirely possible, the cubase artis 6 --> cubase 6 upgrade is currently €250,-.

edit: just checked, you're actually saving €150,- going that route. Upgrading from essential 4 to cubase 6 straight is €499,- ;)
Software: Steinberg Cubase Pro 8 64-bit.
Hardware: Intel i5 6600, 16Gb DDR3, Win7 64-bit
Mackie Onyx 1620i - Steinberg Midex 8 - Steinberg CC121.

My humble contributions to what could be considered music.
