Score Templates

Post by Claude V » Thu Dec 05, 2019 1:28 pm

Hey every one,

I am new in Dorico, and after having used Sibelius for about 20 years I am absolutely amazed and happy I have found this treasure!! :-)
I cannot find one function though and need your help:
How can I save my own score templates like for unusual ensembles etc.
Is there any function, any folder to pit my own templates in etc?
Thanks for your help and great, you are around!
:-)
Best
Claude

There is no explicit way to create official personal templates, but you can set up a file as you like and save it where you want (probably stay away from the Dorico templates folder in case updates overwrite the folder) and even markt he document read-only if your OS has that option.
