Some source audio clips appear missing (outlined waveform)

Post by mlampert » Wed Jan 12, 2011 1:56 am

Hey all,

I just upgraded from N4 to 5.1.0, and when loading some recent projects noticed that seemingly random clips show up in the timeline greyed out -- hollow waveform with only the outline in color. The clip plays no audio, but its source file is present in the pool as always, and no notifications about missing files come up when the project is loaded.

Has anyone else seen this or have an idea of what might be going on? All of my source audio has been copied into my local Audio folder under the project, and I've never had this issue before.

Thanks,

Mark

Heh, precisely ... and that was it. While reassigning all my custom key layouts, I'd missed my reassignment of the mute tool, so I'd probably tried it already and thought that wasn't it.

Crisis averted. Thanks for helping me screw my head on straight. :)
