Cant edit --pointer tool only allows me to select ALL clips

Post by funkstone » Sun Apr 16, 2017 6:53 am

I am editing a project

and all of a sudden any time I try to select an audio clip (or Midi) clip for editing. ALL ( as is every clip in the project) gets selected.

Editing is impossible if the pointer only allows me to select everysingle clip in the project.

It was working fine a few minutes ago. I have tried restarting.

How do I turn off this behaviour of only selecting all clips.

Hi,

Does it select all clips in the project at once, or all clip of the track?

I would say, it's a preferences issue. You could start Safe Start Mode.

SOLVED
I accidentally created a group which included every clip in the project.

Ungroup and back to work.
