Good REC function for attached pedal?

Post by dpolcino » Thu Feb 24, 2011 1:56 am

Right now I have the footswitch set to "Record" which is fine, but when I stop recording the playhead keeps going instead of stopping playback of the session. Was wondering if there's a better function choice than "Record" to accomplish this? Or an overall preference somewhere? What are people doing with their switch. Stopping playback with my hand kind of defeats the switch's purpose.

Issue with Recording using CC121 and Sustain pedal

Post by chikitin » Fri May 26, 2017 2:02 pm

Hi

I have the sustain pedal set to "Record" which is fine, but when I stop recording the playhead jumps back to start instead of stopping and everything gets erased obviously. I guess I should make it toggle or have record button to stop after it is pressed for the second time.

This feature (Recording using CC121 and Sustain pedal) used to work after I updated to 8.30, it stopped working.

Attached please see my settings.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Presumably you have Cubase set up to "Re-Record". Set it to the standard Record.
