sys-ex/midi file "invalid file" when importing to V-Station

Post by resomedia » Mon Feb 08, 2016 8:38 pm

I've got a demo of the Novation V-Station plug running-considering a purchase IF if can get my K-station custom banks imported. I've recorded a sys-ex midi file (which data all shows up fine in List Editor AND with sys-ex filtering un-checked in Prefs). When I import to V-Station I get an invalid error-100. I've tried a whole system dump as well as just one bank. Same results. Anyone know a trick to get this to work? Reading around online, others are having the same issue, demo or purchased. Also, I'm noticing that Cubase exports .midi while the V-Station says to import a .mid file. My understanding are that these are the same. Same error when changing the prefix. Thanks for any help.
