Removing digital "pop" sound on two tracks

Post by borriffick » Sun Dec 03, 2017 5:31 pm

My interface malfunctioned slightly during recording two guitar tracks (DI acoustic and mic acoustic). The digital pops happen at the same time on both tracks as they were recorded together. They are on the actual files themselves, and not just when you play back through Cubase.
I was wondering if there was a way to maybe clone the actual pop, and then remove all 40 or so of them at the same time? Would be nice to do both tracks at the same time so they aren't out of phase.
I have iZotope RX but have never used it, and have the second newest Waves suite as well, and could maybe spring for a more appropriate plugin too if it works.
Thanks guys!
