How to avoid that new VSTs are (anwanted) added in Mediabay?

Post by ggietman » Thu Jul 20, 2017 1:14 pm

Hi there,
I am relatively new with Cubase. I am trying out midi drum files that I import in a project.
But. Each time when I import a new midi drum pattern there is also added a VST Halion Sonic SE in the list of VST instruments ... (at the right of the project window).
How can I avoid this?

Somebody knwos?

Kind Regards,

Gerard

Drag and drop the MIDI files to an existing Instrument Track or MIDI Track. This prevents Halion Sonic SE from being loaded.
Every time someone says "it must be easy to add/fix", a programmer dies.

Cubase Pro and Wavelab Pro (latest), Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, MSI Z87-G45 GAMING, i5 4690k, GeForce GTX 760, almost every Steinberg plugin and expansion, Trilian, Komplete 10, etc etc etc etc
