Bounce selection doesn't rename the file

Post by JohannesBerglund » Tue Oct 29, 2019 11:14 am

Hi,

Is it still possible to create a new file with the "bounce selection" command where the new file gets the name of the track?

Now i'm only getting "The old filename (The new track name)".

best regards,
johannes

Are you talking about 'Render in Place'?

If you look in the info line, you'll see "filename" and "description." if you delete the description (which has the name of the original source file), you'll just see the filename in the clip.

I think they reversed the order they appear in these latest Nuendo versions, which was a little confusing to me at first...

Either way, if you look at the bounced filename in your audio folder, it ought to be the new name.
