Adjusting Dynamic Layers Volume manually

Post by smiler » Thu Jul 25, 2019 6:29 am

Hello guys. I'm trying to combine seamlessly dynamic layers of my instrument but there is quite obvious difference in volume in between samples on their velocity transition point.

One sample ends on velocity 99, second starts from 100. So when you play 99 and then 100 velocity you can hear significant difference in volume.

I was wondering is there anything like "Velocity Modulation Table" in Kontakt which allows you to adjust volume of a sample regarding to its velocity ? I tried using different velocity curves on those dynamic layers but it's far from perfect solution. I also tried crossfades but it doesn't work for all types of sound so I would rather like to adjust the volume instead.
Thanks for your any help
