I haven't seen any queries posted on this topic, and wonder whether it's OT. Hence this question is a bit general in nature (I have a specific requirement or two at the moment). If I have a particular song and want to find out what program will work for eg. the syn lead, is there a way to locate a program without having to try all the possibilities in the libraries? TIA

The only thing I can offer is that, sometimes, a program's name hints at a song, artist or band that it is trying to mimic.
