MIDI compensation for Latency

Post by SteveH » Wed Dec 06, 2017 9:12 pm

Hello Everyone,

I have a question about recording MIDI parts from a keyboard.

If I record notes in from one Keyboard (Yamaha EX5), the notes are recorded properly in time.

If I record notes in from my master keyboard (Roland XV-88) the notes recorded are always a little ahead of everything.

I have been manually adjusting the notes back, but I figured that there must be a better way.

Any suggestions towards a remedy to this would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Steve.
