Lower Edit Zone - where is the link button for an audio trak

Post by alexis » Sat Dec 10, 2016 9:27 pm

Hi - When a MIDI track is opened down in the LZ, there is a link icon at the top of the LZ that allows the scroll to be linked with the main project window.

I don't see how to do that link when it's an audio track that's opened. Didn't see it in the LZ set up panel either.

Thanks much for any thoughts -
Alexis

-Cubase "Safe Start Mode" (CTRL-ALT-SHIFT)
-Get variable-tempo audio to follow a grid here,
-Replacing freely-timed section into a variable tempo project

Hi,

I'm sorry, there is no link button for the Sampler Editor.

Actually the Sampler Editor behave a bit different. For example, if you cut the audio event, you can always see the whole audio file in the Sampler Editor, plus you can see the borders of your event. The reason is, the Sample Editor actually shows the original wav file.

Btw, the Link Button is present for the Audio Part editor.
