Key Command to Navigate from slur to note?

Post by jsharer »

I will often select some notes, press S to slur them, and then want to do something else with those notes. Dorico selects the slur when I add it, and I haven't found a way to navigate to the previous note selection from the keyboard. Pressing Shift-Right from the slur appears to select some subset I haven't discerned.

Thank you for the suggestion. I'm finding that Tab selects the first note of the slurred phrase. This is very handy to know, in different circumstances. It doesn't help restore the previous selection though.

I’m afraid there’s no way to restore the selection after adding the slur. You’d need to manually re-select the notes.
