According to Steinbergs knowledge base there are still issues with Cubase 8.0.30 and Windows 10.

Headlands wrote:It actually fixed some spiking issues I was having on W8.1. W10 has quite been smooth sailing for me, on Nuendo 7.0.3. One tip I saw was to make sure you are running Nuendo and eLicenser as administrator, which I did. No idea what that does, but again, it's been pretty damn smooth for me. W10 is a strange and inconsistent beast (like all Windows OS's, really), though overall it's a definite improvement over 8.1
Do you feel that it is also an improvement over Windows 7?

It's been a nightmare for me as well and i can't go back. It's my own fault for updating in spite of the warning. i just hope they fix this soon.

A workaround I've discovered is to enable "insert reset events after record" in preferences/MIDI.

I then went back and recorded something new in each of my pre recorded tracks

That's great news!

My thanks to the programmers for addressing this so quickly.
