New effects and updated plug-ins including Frequency EQ, HALion Sonic SE 3, Retrologue 2, AutoPan, Maximizer and more
User Profile Manager to easily store and recall program settings and preferences
ADR improvements including automatic speech alignment and remote ADR support (available within a future maintenance update)

Hello Luis,

This is very confusing. In your N8 Trial announcement here and on the N8 forum you state that it can be used for 30 days, but elsewhere 60 days and two calendar months are mentioned. These are three different things. So which one is correct?

If it is two calendar months when will it end if I were to activate the license on July 25?
Chris

Hello fenderchris,

thank you for pointing out the error in my Forum post, that was totally my mistake. Nuendo 8 Trial can be used for a period of 60 days since the day you activate the license.

Hi Luis,
I tried to use the N8 trial but this version was unusable to me and the 60 days expired without using it. Is it possible to try the new version 8.1?
Thanks

Roberto

All the best,
Luis,

You say that the trial can be used for 60 days but the Steinberg Trail Version screen states that it is 30 days!

https://www.steinberg.net/en/products/s ... sions.html

What is the actual situation???.

In any event, this new idea where the trail expires after (30 or 60) days whether you have had time to use it or not is a very bad idea which makes the trial versions useless for any serious evaluation.

We are busy people and cannot devote (30 or 60) continuous days to new version bug discovery.

The old method was much better - we could evaluate and test when we found time, think about it, read the manual, then go back and test again. Now we are expected to find time to cram everything into a few hours before the thing expires.

Ridiculous idea for such sophisticated software. A lot of users are unhappy about this and it will not bring money in any faster - it just pi**es people off.

Steinberg has announced the immediate availability of the Nuendo 8 trial version. Nuendo 8 introduces Game Audio Connect 2 and the Sound Randomizer for game sound design and composing, continuing to meet the demands of today's audio professionals. Comprehensive workflow improvements that range from the new MixConsole History to Direct Offline Processing round off the many further additions to the audio post-production software.
