Cubase 8 Pro on Thinkpad

My Cubase 8 Pro will not run on my Thinkpad W520.

I get an error message "DWM Composition not running. Switch to an Aero theme".

I've researched it on how to do the switch, but get the same error.

Somewhere I read that its video card related.

Has anybody run into this and know the fix, if there even IS one. Anybody running CB 8 on a Thinkpad ???
