I came in here today, to check if anyone had good news, AND to state that its now been 4 weeks, since I have heard from support.

And.. same story.
This is just a thought, and may not help at all. Have you used the Activity Monitor app to see whether Synsopos.app had crashed and wasn't responding? It might be that when you reinstalled the latest eLCC that the old Synsopos.app was preventing the new one being overwritten. If it's highlighted in red in Activity Monitor and not responding then force quit it. Did you remove the dongle when you reinstalled the eLCC and OS X? I should have mentioned removing the dongle for steps 1 and 2 above.

Hhmmm, now it seems to have stopped working for me on 10.11.2 as well...
Updating the Elicenser is giving my this error:

Tried updating elicenser & OSX to 10.11.3 , but no change......
Well, maybe forget about El Capitan for now and back to Mavericks... (Still on my bootdisk. ;) )

So after finding this thread

viewtopic.php?f=226&t=91007

I removed the Duet app from my mac, rebooted and everything is as it should be. Ive noticed also my Crashplan app is now working properly as well. The Duet app may have something to do with it....maybe.
Ill see how it goes but so far, so good.

Hmm, I have just recently started using Duet, guess it wasn't installed on my back up, have to check it....
