Highlighting scales

Post by Cole » Fri Jun 19, 2015 12:22 am

A feature ... showing the D Major scale in this case. I would then be able to draw in notes and only see the keys that apply. Very useful for those of us who don't actually play very fluently.

mod edit: post edited and thread split off from a thread in the F.R. forum

Sounds good. But I probably have an even better idea: Highlighting scales. You press a knob, a pop up menu comes up, you select a scale, for instance d major and all keys belonging to it have a slighty different color.

Or perhaps use the already built-in function from the chord track.

This is pretty sweet Steve thanks! Just trying to figure how you have the chord name displayed in the piano roll. Thanks again.

It's the In-Place editor on the project page with the chord track above.
