AVID ARTIST users please help (issue when adding new tracks)

Post by emreyazgin » Tue Jun 18, 2019 5:54 pm

I bought Artist Mix and Transport and set it up. Everything works as normal, I just have a huge problem. Whenever I add or delete new tracks or move tracks up or down in Cubase 10, this process is really slow and most of the time Artist and Transport loses connection during this long lag. I am on windows 7, I am using a gigabit switch directly to my computer, not using static ip. Anyone experienced this problem?
I7 2600K, Gigabyte Z58X - UD5 (Texas Instrument FireWire chipset), 16GB Kingston 1600 Mhz RAM, 4 TB total HD, Passive Sapphire 1GB video card, Coolermaster case + Coolermaster 750 Watt Silent PSU, UAD 2 QUAD NEVANA, UAD 2 PCIe, RME FIREFACE 800, Nord Lead 2X, Virus C, Yamaha P80, Nord Electro 3, Safe Sound Audio P1, Avedis MA5, Buzzuadio Potion, Speck ASC-V, API 512C, DIY 1176 clone, MOTU 128 Express, Lexicon MPX1, TC M-One, Yamaha SPX-2000, Marshall JMP1, Radial Jensen DI, Adam A7, Mackie 10" sub, iNano monitor controller....Lots of nice VSTI's, VST "soft-board" and effects...ah and two small Creative speakers ;)

None of the artist mix users experience this?

Sound more like a network issue. Normally you can only use non static IP's when you have a DHCP server. Try to use static IP's instead. It could also be something much more simple, like a bad cable or if something in your network is running on half duplex.
Cubase Pro 10, Dual Xeon E5-2670, 128 gigs of ram, Samsung EVO 860 1 TB primary, Samsung EVO 960 2 TB secondary, Komplete, Waves, Softube, a bunch of VSTi's, Prism Sound Titan.
