I don't want to be one of those people who get on a forum just to complain. I took my iPad with Cubasis, Behringer Audio I/F, Arturia Keystation and a microphone on vacation recently. I didn't really expect to get much done but by the end of the week I'd practically finished a new 3 minute instrumental using a lot of built in sounds for piano, bass, synth and drums along with the acoustic guitar.
At home I mostly use SONAR on my PC but I find that a lot of mouse activity puts me in an un-musical mood. I wasn't expecting working on the iPad to be easier but in some ways it is. There are a few things that bother me so I've given my votes and input into new features.
I'm also using an iPad looper program to capture ideas from the guitar. That is how I usually work rather than starting with a drum beat like 99% of everyone. I get a guitar riff down then I try to create or find a drum pattern to match.

Re: Success with Cubasis
Hi Digital Larry,
Thanks for your message.
We're glad to hear that Cubasis works out for you in being creative and getting things done quickly.
And of course, we're glad not reading complaints only here, too...
Best wishes,
Lars
