AI CMC bottons

the AI botton and the VOL botton don,t react as good as the have done in the past. I have to push hard for the bottoms to react. What can i do please help.

There isn't much you can do without taking them apart (which would void any warranty you might have). The rubber buttons make a connection on contact pads on a circuit board underneath the buttons. You can gently clean them with isopropyl alcohol and a cue tip being carful not to remove the black conductive material on the pads. When re-assembling make sure there is absolutely no dirt or dust on the contacts.

If you don't know what you're doing you can mess them up and make them not work at all, or break them while disassembling or re-assembling them. This is really your only option though unless they are under warranty. You could also contact a local music equipment repair place (they are getting more and more rare these days) to do the work for you but you would most likely end up paying more to have them repaired then just buying new ones and most places wouldn't even do the work because of how little the controller is worth.
