Recorded audio file name

Post by dschreiberjr »

Is there a way to change the scheme which Nuendo uses to name recorded files?

Here's how it currently works: I record for the first time in a session to track A. The file (which appears in the pool) is named A_01. I record a second time, to the same track, and the file is named A_02. Repeat...

I'd like to add digits to the number which Nuendo appends to the file name. I'd like the file names to read A_001 and A_002, etc....

Is the naming scheme customizable? I'm familiar with the rename function within the pool, but that doesn't quite solve the problem. While recording, the names are noted and tracked for reference later on. So, renaming them later doesn't solve anything.

No, you can't customize the naming scheme.
